Now I suggest always going to see a mechanic if you have a problem but here are a few hacks for when that cash just isn't there.

Have cloudy headlight? could they use sprucing up? well clean them the same way you would clean those pearly whites! Tooth paste apparently has more then one use, who knew!

Have a scratch or chip, some nail polish of close color could help cover the nasty blemish.

Sick of people trashing your car? maybe your a bit messy yourself? use a plastic cereal container as a trash can.

Hate cold morning? Hate scraping ice off the windshield or waiting for the car to defrost a little so you can hit the road? Park facing east to defrost windshields in the morning, this tip may make your winter trips just a bit easier.

Is your lock on the freeze because of the winter chill, inject some hand santizer into it to break down the ice and get into your car!.

Have some memory issues? Cant find your car, well there is a app for us but for those of us who don't have the smart phones of today there is a simpler way. Take a picture of it before you leave it behind so you can use it to remember your way back.

Want a radar detector but its illegal? Easy! Get the old timer CB radio, its not as good, but can alert you to accidents and speed traps and they arn't illegal!

I could even tell you how to get that annoying boot off your car...but you probably have it there for a reason!
